Anissa Dyen began her journey with hand-building pottery in the fall of 2022 when she attended classes with her daughter. What started as a mother-daughter bonding experience soon became a family affair when she convinced her husband, Scott, to join them in taking classes. As a Behavior Analyst, Anissa finds that working with clay is a therapeutic outlet, helping her to unwind and leave the stresses of her job behind. 

Anissa's pottery is inspired by her passion for traveling and the many museums and beautiful gardens she has visited, such as Versailles, Villa Borghese, Meiji Jingu, and the Royal Botanical Gardens. She also draws inspiration from her love of flowers and antique wrought iron gates, incorporating these influences into the forms and textures of her work.

Avery Dyen is a dedicated hobby ceramicist and practicing attorney based in Orlando, Florida. She has always had a passion for creating. What started as a simple interest in clay has blossomed into a fulfilling creative outlet that brings joy and imagination to her life.

Inspired by the beauty of nature, Avery focuses on hand-building techniques to create one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect a love for texture and form. Through her art, Avery aims to create pieces that resonate on a personal level, fostering a deeper connection between people and the objects they use and display.
